Monitoring the quality of environmental factors – one of the basic functions of the Environment Agency

According to the provisions of the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Environment Agency, approved by Government Decision no. 549 of June 13, 2018, one of the basic functions of the Environmental Agency is to monitor the quality of environmental factors.

What is Environmental Impact Assessment?

Environmental impact assessment is a new tool, introduced in order to ensure the prevention or minimization, at the initial stages, of possible significant effects on the environment that may occur as a result of the construction of new objects, expansion, reconstruction, modernization, reprofiling, conservation, demolition and the liquidation of objects, as well as the acquisition or use of natural resources, useful mineral resources.
